Original deluxe interior. Dark blue carpets, side panels and seats with sheepskin inserts. There is one tear in the base of the pilot's seat. Hard headliner. Recent plastic trim. Generally in good condition. Rated 7 out of 10.
Excellent original 1978 paint. Overall white with dark blue major and light blue minor accents. Overall rated 8 out of 10.
Normally the 1978 172's are equipped with an H2AD engine which is not very popular. This plane does not have that engine. It has been reppaced with the better 1980 to 1986 172P engine, the 160 HP 0-320 D2J which makes this plane highly desirable. Central California valley and Las Vegas Nevada since new. Very corrosion free, very staight. No damage history. Complete logs. No hail. This is the right plane to buy.
