Original Paint in very good condition for the age. Showing some cracking on plastic parts and some checking on lower cowling. The white is in very good condition and holds a luster. Overall White with maroon major accent and gold minor accent in traditional original Piper factory Scheme. Overall rated 7 out of 10.
California based and owned locally by current owner who bought it in 2006 with 1458TT. Prior to that it was owned by a dentist in Nebraska who had owned it for 20 years. Hangared for the last 28 years for sure. Complete logs. No damage History. No hail. These are basically a Cherokee 180 with a 235 HP 540 Lycoming in them and longer wings and more gas. They compete directly with the Cessna 182 but have a longer lived higher TBO engine with a 2000 TBO. A great mountain plane or load hauler.
