California based, this plane has been kept hangared and in a dry climate for the majority of it's life. Converted to an O-470-50 with the P-Ponk STC at One Stop Aviation in 2012, it's engine is very low time at 47 hours. Ready for back country work also fast enough for commuting and heavy IFR. The ferry pilot noted at 6,500 ft. and running 2300 RPM with 23" MP, it runs just over 145 KTS. This is due in part to the 470-50 and 3-Blade Hartzell Simitar prop combination, as well as the knots-2-U wheel pants, flap gap seals and wing-strut speed fairings. The current owner had the plane gone through inside and out and had all the controls replaced because he wants mechanical perfection. The paint wasn't such a big concern as his intentions were to take the plane to Alaska and have fun with it up there, but he never went. No corrosion, no damage, no hail and complete logs from the first test flight.
