These 1960 and 1961 182's have the same fusilage and wings and tail as the 1964 to 1981 Cessna 180's and the same as all the 185's. This plane with a straight tail and a talwheel is a Skywagon 180/185. This is where the 180/185 Airframe came from in 1961 when this design became the 180/185 and the 182 went to the wider cabin and the rear window and electric flaps etc. These are the fastback 182's and are very popular.
